Operating Techniques For Ore Sand Making Machines

Safety and efficiency are key when operating an ore sand making machine. I've compiled the core techniques and precautions for you; following these steps will help you avoid major problems.

Preparation and Inspection Before Start-up

Safety First: Before operation, always wear protective glasses, a dust mask, and a safety helmet. It is recommended that at least two people operate the machine together, ensuring someone is supervising.

Equipment Inspection:
Security and Protection: Confirm that the equipment is securely installed, the anchor bolts are not loose, and the protective cover is in place.

Power Supply and Wiring: Check that the voltage is stable, the motor wiring is correct, and the cables are undamaged.

Key Components: Pay special attention to ensuring the vortex chamber observation door is tightly closed to prevent material from spraying out and causing injury. Also, confirm that the impeller rotation direction is correct (counter-clockwise when viewed from the feed inlet); otherwise, adjust the motor wiring.

Material Pretreatment: Screen the sand and gravel raw materials to remove large impurities, mud, and moisture to prevent material jamming or affecting the quality of the finished product.

Start-up and Operation

Correct Start-up Sequence: Follow the principle of "dust removal first, then main unit; no-load first, then feeding."

Start-up: First turn on the dust removal system. After it stabilizes, start the main unit motor. The main unit must be started under no-load. Only after it runs smoothly without abnormal vibration or noise can you begin feeding material evenly.

Shutdown: The sequence is reversed. After stopping feeding, let the main unit continue to run under no-load for a few minutes to empty the material in the chamber, then shut down the main unit and the dust removal system in sequence.

Monitoring During Operation:

Feed Control: Maintain uniform and continuous feeding to avoid overload or intermittent feeding that could lead to blockages or impeller wear.

Operating Status: Closely observe the equipment operation. If there is severe vibration, abnormal noise, motor overheating, or excessively high bearing temperature, stop the machine immediately for inspection.

Lubrication: Regularly add grease or change the lubricating oil to bearings, gearboxes, and other parts according to the frequency of use. Refer to the equipment manual for specific intervals.
