The core of daily maintenance for ore sand making machines can be summarized in one sentence: "Observe more, listen more, and do more to prevent problems before they occur." Persistence will significantly improve the machine's lifespan and efficiency.
Preparation and Inspection Before Start-up
No-load Start-up: Always run the machine under no-load conditions first, and only start feeding material after confirming there are no abnormal noises.
Material Inspection: Ensure the feed particle size and hardness meet the equipment requirements, avoiding excessively large or hard materials.
Tightening Screws: Before starting the machine each day, check and tighten the bolts on key components such as the feed hopper and discharge port.
Screen and Belt Inspection: Check the screen for damage or blockages; check the belt tension and wear.
Monitoring During Operation
Listen for Abnormal Noises: Damaged bearings or transmission components are often accompanied by abnormal noises.
Observe Vibration: Severe vibration may indicate impeller imbalance or loose components.
Monitor Temperature and Current: If the bearing temperature is too high or the current is abnormal, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
Clean Up Waste Material: Clean up accumulated material and dust inside the equipment promptly.
Post-Shutdown Cleaning
Thoroughly Empty Material: After stopping the machine, be sure to empty all materials from inside the equipment.
Clean Equipment: Focus on cleaning the feed inlet, discharge outlet, and dust removal system.
