Jaw crusher equipment is a mechanical device that crushes materials through the reciprocating compression of a moving jaw and a stationary jaw. It is mainly used in the coarse and medium crushing of ores and rocks in industries such as mining, building materials, and metallurgy. It is suitable for crushing materials with a compressive strength not exceeding 80MPa, and the finished product is mostly in flake form.
The equipment consists of core components such as the machine body, eccentric shaft, jaw plates, and adjustment devices. It adopts an integral casting or welded steel plate box structure. The eccentric shaft transmits power through a pulley, driving the moving jaw to reciprocate and complete the crushing process. The flywheel and eccentric block design enhances the crushing force. The discharge port is adjusted through a support plate system and also has overload protection. The small laboratory model adopts a fully sealed design, supports 380V/220V voltage selection, and is equipped with a rear handwheel for particle size adjustment.
The equipment must be fixed to a concrete foundation for installation. After no-load start-up, a gradual load test should be conducted. Routine maintenance includes regularly lubricating bearings, support plates, and other moving parts, monitoring jaw plate wear, and periodically flipping the jaw plates for use. During operation, it is strictly forbidden for metal foreign objects to enter the crushing chamber. Before shutting down, ensure that the material is emptied. The annual maintenance and overhaul cycles are 1 year and 2 years respectively to ensure long-term operation of the equipment.
